Terry the owner was accommodating and friendly.
The motel is very cute and the rooms are clean
A bonfire at night was a great place to sit and have a conversation with other guests!
I highly recommend!
Terry, the owner, of the place went out of their way to make our stay so very special! He saw what we needed even before we did! Very accommodating! I would recommend this place to all of my friends!

The Lamplighter was an awesome find for us. We have been coming to Mackinaw area for at least 25-30yrs. We wish we would’ve known about the Lamplighter sooner. The atmosphere is very welcoming, quiet, and homey. Terry and Jennifer are super friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Thanks for EVERYTHING!!!
My sister and I stayed here in June 2023 and loved it . We had the garden room , plenty of room for us and our dogs . Terry and Jennifer were great hosts . Will be booking again here real soon
